About our Organization

The Vestal School Foundation’s mission is to encourage creativity and provide initial financial support to bring new ideas and projects to life. Since 1995, the Foundation has given thousands of dollars to the Vestal Schools. Our public schools use the financial assistance offered by the Foundation as a way to maintain high standards while facing the decline of state funding.

Although annual school district budgets may seem large in dollar volume there is little, if any, room for discretionary spending. Due to state mandates, inflationary rises in fixed costs and exponential increases in health care costs; it is difficult for administrators to find even a few extra dollars to fund an innovative project or additional training. Facing these difficult times, the Vestal Schools need our help.
